In the detailed section, first, with respect to Cunda and Mañjuśrī, the meaning with residue is explained; from "What is termed the meaning without residue?" below, with respect to Kāśyapa, the meaning without residue is explained; from "Wishing to cause..." below, the intention of the teaching is concluded overall. In the meaning with residue, verses are cited in seven turns. Some say these are the six perfections: the first verse is dāna; the next two are śīla; the next one is kṣānti; the next one is vīrya; the next one is prajñā; the final one is dhyāna. However, seeking their marks is subtle and obscure, nor are they in sequence; it does not necessarily rely exclusively on the approach of the six perfections, but merely cites broadly to integrate the statements with residue found in the sūtras.
