From here below is the second part: teaching entry by means of metaphorical exposition. First it raises the metaphorical situation; from "Is such a nature of curd derived from milk" onward, it elaborates the details of the metaphor, revealing the doctrine by reference to it. The text has four distinct divisions: first, refuting determinate existence and non-existence to reveal the second [theme] above, that existence and non-existence are non-dual; second, from "This cow eats water and grass" onward, clarifying that milk, curd, and so on are identical in nature before and after, revealing the fourth [theme] above, that before and after are non-dual; third, from "Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha" onward, expanding on the first [theme] above, that existence and non-existence are non-dual; fourth, from "Conditioned by this cow eating grass" onward, expanding on the second [theme] above, that before and after are non-dual.
