初中有二：一汎明諸法從因緣生，悉是無常；二「是諸外道無一法」下正明外道所計常者無有一法不從緣生，故是無常。外道多計五陰為常，五陰法中何有一法不從緣生？為是無常。

The first section has two parts: first, generally clarifying that all dharmas arise from causes and conditions and are entirely impermanent; second, from 'These non-Buddhists have no single dharma' below, properly clarifying that among what the non-Buddhists conceptualise as permanent, there is not a single dharma that does not arise from conditions, and hence it is impermanent. The non-Buddhists mostly conceptualise the five aggregates as permanent; among the dharmas of the five aggregates, what single dharma does not arise from conditions? Therefore it is impermanent.
