自下第四明諸外道不見常法，所說常者悉是妄語，無有真常。「諸凡夫」下超破第八，於中先明外道所計其實非常，「虛空」已下舉常顯之。前中初先牒其所計，「當知」已下明其非常，「一切有」下出非常法。

From here below, the fourth section clarifies that the non-Buddhists do not see the permanent dharma, and what they speak of as permanent is entirely false speech, lacking genuine permanence. From 'All ordinary persons' below, it skips ahead to refute the eighth [point], within which it first clarifies that what the non-Buddhists conceptualise is in fact impermanent, and from 'Space' onwards adduces the permanent to reveal it. In the former, first it repeats what they conceptualise, from 'You should know' onwards it clarifies its impermanence, and from 'All existing' below it brings out the impermanent dharmas.
