In the second statement, 'Because it is destructible through causes and conditions, it is also called impermanent' briefly indicates it. Differentiation is called destruction: because the causes and conditions of the eye-consciousness and other consciousnesses are distinct, it is called differentiation. Alternatively, destruction and cessation are called destruction: because the eye-consciousness and other consciousnesses arise dependent on conditions, and when conditions are deficient they do not arise, it is called destruction. What is distinguished below can be known.
