今此文中依名正破，但破五句，謂破第二、第三、第五、第七、第八。以義會之，八句皆破，但不次第，四對記之：其第一對先破第一，次破第四；其第二對先破第七，次破第八；其第三對先破第六，却破第五；其第四對先破第二，後破第三。

Now, in this text, following the explicit terms, it directly refutes only five clauses, namely refuting the second, third, fifth, seventh, and eighth. When harmonised according to the meaning, all eight clauses are refuted, but not in sequence; they are recorded as four pairs: The first pair first refutes the first, and next refutes the fourth; the second pair first refutes the seventh, and next refutes the eighth; the third pair first refutes the sixth, and then refutes the fifth; the fourth pair first refutes the second, and afterwards refutes the third.
