下佛先嘆，「汝今以此善心」已下明持有益。就前嘆中，「善哉」總嘆，「汝甚」已下五句別嘆，始心愛好名「愛大乘」，貪求屬己名「貪大乘」，正能領納名「受大乘」，於所受法味著不捨名「味大乘」，於所味法信教尊重，奉順修行，名「信大乘」，乃至供養。

Below, the Buddha first praises; from "you now, with this wholesome thought" downward, he clarifies that upholding it brings benefit. In the preceding praise, "Excellent!" is the general praise; from "you exceedingly..." downward, five clauses provide specific praises: initial fond affection in the mind is called "loving the Mahāyāna"; greedily seeking it as one's own is called "coveting the Mahāyāna"; properly receiving it is called "accepting the Mahāyāna"; relishing without abandoning the dharma received is called "relishing the Mahāyāna"; faithfully respecting and obediently practicing the dharma relished is called "having faith in the Mahāyāna," up to making offerings.
