第二正往驗試之中兩義科文，第一就其能試以科，文別有五：第一帝釋現可畏形；第二「辯才」次第已下說可愛法；三「大婆羅門汝今不應問我」已下說可畏食；四「若能捨身諦聽」已下說可愛法；五「說是偈已作是言」下催令速施，示可畏事。此之一番直科便罷，更不解釋，宜審記知。

In the second [major division], actually going to conduct the test, the text is outlined according to two perspectives. The first outlines it in terms of the one who conducts the test, and the text has five parts: first, Śakra manifests a terrifying form; second, from "eloquence" in sequence onward, he speaks delightful Dharma; third, from "O great Brahmin, you should not ask me now" onward, he speaks of terrifying food; fourth, from "If you can give up your body and listen attentively" onward, he speaks delightful Dharma; fifth, from "having spoken this verse, he said these words" onward, he urges him to give swiftly, showing a terrifying matter. This one sequence is directly outlined without further explanation, and one should examine and bear it in mind.
