梵行品者，下明梵行，因以標品，名〈梵行品〉。此品有三：一正明梵行；二「王舍大城阿闍世」下寄就世王懺悔滅罪，以顯病行；三舉天行，懸指《雜華》。

Regarding the "Chapter on Pure Practice": below, pure practice is explained, and the chapter is named after it as the "Chapter on Pure Practice." This chapter has three [parts]: first, directly explaining pure practice; second, from "Ajātaśatru of the great city of Rājagṛha" onward, using the king's repentance and eradication of transgression to reveal the practice of illness; third, presenting celestial practice, remotely referring to the Avataṃsaka.
