知尊卑中，先問，次辯，後總結之。辯中凡有八種二法，要唯近友、聞法、思惟、如說修行，初三親近、次二聞法、次一思惟、後二修行。

Within "knowing the superior and the inferior," it first questions, next analyzes, and finally concludes overall. In the analysis there are altogether eight kinds of paired dharmas, which essentially are only drawing near to good friends, hearing the Dharma, reflecting on it, and practicing as taught: the first three are drawing near; the next two are hearing the Dharma; the next one is reflecting; and the final two are practicing.
