前中，初法，次喻，後合，下結明虛。法中，「世尊除無利益」牒前大慈，「與利樂者」牒前大悲，「實無所為」略顯不真，「如是思惟即是虛等」廣顯不真。喻中有五，合文可知。「雖口發」下結以明虛。

In the first part, there is first the principle, next the metaphors, and then the application, and below it concludes by clarifying their unreality. In the principle, "World-Honoured One, removing what is non-beneficial" refers back to the earlier great benevolence; "providing benefit and joy" refers back to the earlier great compassion; "truly nothing is done" briefly reveals their unreality; "contemplating in this way is precisely false, etc." broadly reveals their unreality. In the metaphors there are five, and the text of their application can be understood. From "Although the mouth utters..." onward, it concludes to clarify their unreality.
