5.39

上來明修，下明所成，「得堪忍地」總明所成，下釋其相。初「忍煩惱亦忍寒」等明能忍苦，略無忍業，「是名」下結。

The above clarifies cultivation; below clarifies that which is accomplished. 'Attaining the patient ground' generally clarifies that which is accomplished; below explains its marks. First, 'enduring afflictions and also enduring cold' and so on clarifies being able to endure suffering, concisely omitting the endurance of karma; from 'this is called' downward concludes it.
