上來第一正明定行，下歎經勝，文有三對：一迦葉問「未得不動，頗有因緣得破戒不」，佛答言「有」。

The above is the first part, which directly clarifies the practice of concentration; below praises the excellence of the sūtra. The text has three pairs: first, Kāśyapa asks, 'before attaining the immovable, are there any causes and conditions whereby one may break the precepts?', and the Buddha answers, 'there are'.
