第四句中，菩薩觀見名為「聞已」，修習明慧名「持利刀」，呵嘖死過，故作是言「汝若不去，當斷汝命」，觀空破滅名斷命也。

In the fourth clause, the bodhisattva contemplating and seeing is called "having heard"; practicing luminous wisdom is called "holding a sharp knife"; rebuking the fault of death, he therefore speaks these words: "If you do not leave, I shall cut off your life"; contemplating emptiness to destroy and extinguish [it] is what is meant by cutting off life.
