6.122

In the fourth section, it distinguishes how the noble ones differ from the ordinary. "The Tathāgata fully knows, sees, and perceives all things, yet does not say of himself [that he knows, sees, and perceives]" directly explains how the Tathāgata differs from ordinary persons; therein, it first explains that possessing wisdom differs from the ordinary; "nor does he say of himself, 'I know, see, and perceive'" shows that absence of arrogance differs from the ordinary, and next applies this analogously to bodhisattvas. From "Why?" onward, it explains conversely how the Tathāgata differs from ordinary persons, and subsequently applies this analogously to bodhisattvas.
