自下第三依名辨德，解如來中，先問、後釋。釋中三番：一約教辯釋，「如過去佛所說不變」略以標舉，「云何」下釋；二約證辯釋，「六波羅蜜」是能證行，「十一空」者是所證理；三約權實二德辯釋，「隨宜開三」是佛權德，「壽命無量」是佛實德。

Below, the third part explains the virtues based on the names. In explaining Tathāgata, there is first an inquiry and then an explanation. In the explanation there are three rounds: First, explaining in terms of the teachings: 'like what was spoken by past Buddhas, unaltering' is briefly raised, and from 'how' downward is the explanation. Second, explaining in terms of realization: the 'six pāramitās' are the practices that can realize, and the 'eleven emptinesses' are the principles that are realized. Third, explaining in terms of the two virtues of provisional and real: 'opening the three according to suitability' is the Buddha's provisional virtue, and 'immeasurable lifespan' is the Buddha's real virtue.
