自下第四明王重病唯佛能治，於中有五：第一耆婆試察王心問王安否、二答不安并復傷己罪無滅處、三耆婆歎王有愧可救并示滅處、四王恥未從眾人共勸、五王因眾勸詣佛懺悔。

From here below is the fourth part, explaining that for the king's grave illness, only the Buddha can treat it. Within this there are five divisions: first, Jīvaka tests and examines the king's mind, asking whether the king is well; second, he replies that he is not well and also laments that there is no place where his crimes can be eliminated; third, Jīvaka praises the king for having shame and being salvageable, and also indicates the place of elimination; fourth, the king feels ashamed and does not yet follow, and the people together urge him; fifth, because of the people's urging, the king approaches the Buddha to repent.
