第二段中句別有五：一勅臣嚴辦；二臣答已具；三嚴駕向佛；四拘尸大眾咸皆覩見；五佛歎善友，先嘆、後釋。

In the second section there are five distinct phrases: first, ordering the ministers to prepare; second, the ministers answering that all is ready; third, preparing the royal procession toward the Buddha; fourth, the great assembly of Kuśinagara all beholding it; fifth, the Buddha praising good spiritual friends, first praising and then explaining.
