自下第三如來述讚。於中初就現在讚歎，「汝昔」已下就過已歎，「從今」已下就當述勸，先勸後釋。
From here below, the third section is the Tathāgata's endorsement and praise. Therein, he first praises him regarding the present; from "You formerly" onward, he praises him regarding the past; from "From now on" onward, he endorses and encourages him regarding the future, first encouraging and then explaining.
