四分文辨釋，此品有二：一正辨德、二「若須施等信是語」下歎經勸學。前中，初先總就德體歎以顯深，「何等十」下隨修辨相，體則果分。

Fourth, dividing the text and explaining it: this chapter has two parts: first, directly distinguishing the virtues; second, from "If there are those who need to give, etc., who believe these words" downward, praising the sūtra and encouraging study. Within the former, first it generally praises the essence of the virtues to reveal their depth; from "What are the ten?" downward, it distinguishes their characteristics in accord with cultivation, while their essence belongs to the division of the fruit.
