From "Why does one who has attachment be called an ordinary person?" onward, it explains this with four distinct clauses: first, it clarifies that an ordinary person attaches to form and so on up to consciousness; second, due to attachment, greed arises; third, due to greed, they are bound and therefore cannot escape birth, old age, sickness, death, and all afflictions. From "Therefore" onward, it concludes: "Therefore, one who has attachment is called an ordinary person" concludes and establishes the earlier statement that the person is not a bodhisattva; it is because one who attaches has the aforementioned faults that they are called an ordinary person. From "In this sense" onward, it concludes and establishes the earlier statement that the mind lacks unobstructedness: because one who attaches has the meaning of greed and bondage, they lack the four unobstructed knowledges.
