From here on is the sixth [part], clarifying the absence of the outflow of acceptance. In the text there are specifically three: first, clarifying the essence of the outflow; second, the bodhisattva severing it; third, clarifying that the Buddha is devoid of it. In clarifying the essence of the outflow, first is the exposition of the dharma: 'all ordinary people, although protecting body and mind, still give rise to the three thoughts' directly clarifies the essence of the outflow. What are the three thoughts? First is the thought of desire, deliberating and seeking all pleasing matters; second is the thought of anger, also called the thought of resentment, thinking that others oppose oneself and intending to be angry with them; third is the thought of vexation, also called the thought of harm, thinking and intending to inflict harm. Broadly there are eight thoughts; these three faults are grave, hence they are specifically discussed. From 'by this condition' below clarifies the fault of its outflow; next the analogy, afterwards the application, and the explanation below can be known.
