下五復次明其破障，攝善力勝，初二破障，前破四住，後破無明。破四住中，先立其喻。「如人」喻於四住煩惱，違害眾善名「國怨讎」，眾善違背名「人厭患」，此定能斷名「有人殺」，眾行歸仰名「無不讚」。下合可知。

The next five further explanations explain that its power to shatter obstacles and gather goodness is supreme. The first two shatter obstacles: the former shatters the four abodes [of defilement], and the latter shatters ignorance. In shattering the four abodes, it first sets up an analogy: "like a person" illustrates the defilements of the four abodes; violating and harming all wholesome things is called "the state's enemy"; being opposed by all wholesome things is called "loathed by people"; this concentration being able to sever them is called "someone kills him"; all practices taking refuge in and admiring it is called "none do not praise him."
