次合顯法，「菩薩為生敷演法要亦復如是」合前長者遣子他國市易所須，「示諸眾生諸道通塞」合示道路通塞之處，「而復誡之乃至莫交」略而不合，「是等聞法」合敬父教，「遠離諸惡」合身安隱，「具足善法」合獲寶貨，「以是」下結。後三門中皆先立喻，次合，後結，文顯可知。

Next, the correlation reveals the Dharma: "The bodhisattva explicates the essentials of the Dharma for sentient beings in just the same way" matches the elder previously sending his son to another land to trade for what was needed; "showing sentient beings the open and blocked paths of all destinies" matches showing where the paths are open or blocked; "and further admonishing them, up to not associating with them" is omitted without correlation; "these people, upon hearing the Dharma" matches revering the father's instruction; "distancing themselves from all evils" matches being safe and at ease in body; "becoming complete in wholesome dharmas" matches obtaining treasures and commodities; from "For this reason..." onward is the conclusion. In each of the latter three gates, it first establishes the metaphor, next correlates it, and then concludes; the text is evident and can be understood.
