先解善義，「何故」徵問，「一切聲聞當得佛道」故名為善。下釋是真，「何故」徵問，現悟法性故得名真。「是名」下結。

First it explains the meaning of wholesome: "For what reason?" raises the question; because "all śrāvakas will attain the buddha path," it is called wholesome. Below it explains that it is true: "For what reason?" raises the question; because they presently awaken to the dharma-nature, it can be called true. From "This is called..." onward is the conclusion.
