下佛釋通，先對末後結呵之言而自免過，「如汝言」下依前別問而為廣答。前中，「若言得廣長舌，當知如來於無量劫已離妄語」正自免過，彰己非虛，「一切佛」下舉他類己，成己非虛。

Below, the Buddha explains and resolves them: first responding to the concluding reproach at the very end to exonerate himself from fault; from "As you say..." onward, he answers extensively according to the earlier specific questions. In the first part: "If it is said that he obtained the broad and long tongue, you should know that the Tathāgata has already been free from false speech for countless kalpas" directly exonerates himself from fault, showing that he is not untrue; from "All buddhas..." onward, he cites others to compare with himself, establishing that he is not untrue.
