7.368

後釋難中，答之不盡而復不次。前五難中但答三句，第三、第五略而不答，故云不盡。不盡，所以後當別解。就所答中，先答第四，次答第一，後答第二，故曰不次。

In the subsequent explanation of the objections, the answers are not exhaustive and furthermore not in order. Among the preceding five objections, he only answers three sentences; the third and fifth are omitted and not answered, and hence they are said to be not exhaustive. The reason for their being not exhaustive will be explained separately later. Concerning those answered: he first answers the fourth, next answers the first, and later answers the second, and hence it is called not in order.
