7.404

自下第二約就妄心明本有貪，難無解脫，有七復次，前五明其心中有貪，後二明其緣中有貪。就前五中，初一復次覩緣生染，證貪是有；第二復次非緣生染，證貪是有；第三復次舉脫證有；第四復次釋難成有；第五復次舉無顯有。

From here below is the second [part], based on the deluded mind, clarifying that it originally has greed, objecting that there is no liberation; there are seven further arguments: the first five clarify that there is greed in the mind, and the latter two clarify that there is greed in conditions. Within the first five: the first further argument proves that greed exists by seeing conditions and generating defilement; the second further argument proves that greed exists by generating defilement without conditions; the third further argument cites liberation to prove existence; the fourth further argument resolves an objection to establish existence; the fifth further argument raises non-existence to reveal existence.
