初復次中，「貪亦有」者總相明有，「若貪無」下破無成有。「若因女」下約緣顯有，「見女生貪」明貪實有，「以貪墮惡」舉果證有。

In the first point: "Greed also exists" reveals existence as a general characteristic; from "If greed does not exist" onward refutes nonexistence to establish existence. From "If because of a woman" onward reveals existence with reference to conditions; "Seeing a woman gives rise to greed" clarifies that greed genuinely exists; "Falling into the evil [realms] because of greed" cites the fruition to prove its existence.
