From here below, the third [section] clarifies that the mind and greed, person and object of greed, are all indeterminate, challenging [the thesis of] no liberation. Because they are indeterminate, having emerged they sink back; how could there be liberation? Herein there are three: First, citing the mind as indeterminate, challenging and refuting liberation: "The mind is also indeterminate" posits the meaning of indeterminacy. From "If the mind were determinate" onward challenges and refutes the opponent's determinacy: if determinate, it would not change; how could there be distinctions such as greed and anger? From "If indeterminate" onward uses the indeterminacy of the mind to challenge and refute liberation: because the mind is indeterminate, having emerged it sinks back; how could there be liberation?
