Within the first section: "Tathāgata" corresponds to the aforementioned lion king; "correctly awakened" corresponds to the previous statement "knowing on its own"; "wisdom teeth and claws" corresponds to the teeth. In the metaphor there were no claws, but in the correspondence there are. "Four bases of spiritual power (ṛddhipāda)" corresponds to the aforementioned four feet; desire, vigor, mindfulness, and wisdom are the four. "A body perfected with the six pāramitās" corresponds to the aforementioned body; because the fruitional virtues are fully complete, it is called perfected. "Ten powers" corresponds to the power; "great compassion" corresponds to the tail; "abiding securely in the four dhyānas" corresponds to being secure in the mountain cavern; "making the lion's roar for all sentient beings" corresponds to the previous emission of sound.
