下釋顯之，前四句中，初句別解，後之三句一處釋之。解初句中，「何義甚深」問以起發，「不斷常」等對問正解，是中直就緣相辯深，因緣實性即是向前非因果性，若更辯深，不異於前，故略不論。良以緣實，非定有無、非斷常故，依之起相，相亦如是，故舉緣相以顯其實。

Below, it explains and reveals it. Among the preceding four phrases, the first phrase is explained separately, and the subsequent three phrases are explained together in one place. In explaining the first phrase, "In what sense is it extremely profound?" asks in order to initiate [the topic]; "not annihilated, permanent," and so forth, directly explains in response to the question. Here it directly distinguishes profundity in terms of the conditioned marks; the real nature of dependent origination is just the aforementioned neither-cause-nor-effect nature, and if one were to further distinguish profundity, it would not differ from the preceding, so it is omitted from discussion. Truly, because the reality of conditions is not definitively existent or non-existent, and is not annihilated or permanent, marks arising in reliance upon it are likewise; hence conditioned marks are cited to reveal their reality.
