Within wisdom, the inferior is also first raised to reveal the superior: first a question, next a differentiation, and finally a conclusion showing the error. From "What is true [wisdom]?" downward, the superior surpassing the inferior is differentiated: first a question, then a differentiation. Benefiting others is clarified first; from "Cultivating in this way..." downward, self-benefit is clarified. "Not perceiving wisdom" means not perceiving the essence of wisdom, its essence being the mental factor of wisdom. "Not perceiving marks" means not perceiving wisdom's mark of distinguishing. The rest can be understood. From "This is..." downward is the conclusion. The above was the extensive differentiation.
