Next, the cultivation of concentration is clarified: first a question, then a differentiation. "Being able to sever all samādhis" is the general statement; from "Namely..." downward is the specific breakdown. "The bodiless samādhi" is the concentration of the sphere of boundless space. "The boundless mind" is the concentration of the sphere of boundless consciousness; taking boundless consciousness as an object is called the boundless mind. "The pure accumulation samādhi" is the concentration of nothingness; being able to gather the mind in one place amidst many objects is called pure accumulation. "The world-limit samādhi": based on it, the view of finitude arises. "The world-annihilation samādhi": based on this concentration, annihilation is calculated. "The world-nature samādhi": based on it, an unmanifest primordial nature (*prakṛti*) beyond eighty thousand kalpas is calculated. "The worldly soul (*puruṣa*)": based on this concentration, an unmanifest original soul is calculated to exist. "Neither perception [nor non-perception]" can be understood. From "If one can..." downward is the conclusion.
