9.136

「我於一時住王舍」下，答第四句，明說善星叵治所以。有五復次：一明善星反被拘執，恐怖如來；二掃滅佛跡；三見尼乾服食酒糟，言是羅漢，違反佛語。四見苦得言是羅漢，故違佛語。五佛為說法，無心信受。初二身惡、次二口惡、後一意惡。

From "At one time, when I was residing in Rājagṛha" onward, he answers the fourth phrase, clarifying the reasons why Sunakkhatta is said to be incurable. There are five points in succession: first, it clarifies that Sunakkhatta was on the contrary seized [by delusion] and intimidated the Tathāgata; second, he swept away and erased the Buddha's footprints; third, seeing a Nirgrantha consuming wine dregs, he claimed he was an arhat, violating the Buddha's words; fourth, seeing Kṣemaka, he claimed he was an arhat, deliberately violating the Buddha's words; fifth, when the Buddha preached the Dharma for him, he had no mind to believe and accept it. The first two are bodily evils, the next two are verbal evils, and the last one is a mental evil.
