第七次辨心常心斷。應先辨諍，諍相可知。次須論理，理則不偏。亦常亦斷相續不絕故說為常，運運盡謝所以名斷。義既兩兼，不得偏取。文相可知。

Seventh is to explain the mind as permanent or the mind as interrupted. One should first clarify the controversy; the aspects of the controversy are understandable. Next, one must discuss the principle; the principle is not one-sided. It is both permanent and interrupted: continuous without severance, it is therefore taught as permanent; completely perishing moment by moment, it is therefore called interrupted. Since the meaning encompasses both, one must not grasp only one side. The textual aspect is understandable.
