From here below, second, it clarifies that sentient beings do not understand what was previously spoken, admonishing and urging them to abandon attachment. "Although I expound the nature, sentient beings do not understand" clarifies that ordinary people do not understand. "The Buddha's speeches conforming to his own intention, such as these," by presenting the Buddha's exclusive knowledge, establishes that ordinary people do not understand. "Such words as these are not understood by one in their final body, how much less by the two vehicles and the remaining bodhisattvas" reveals that noble ones do not understand. From "Once in the past, when I was at Gṛdhrakūṭa" onwards, it cites the shallow to illustrate the deep, establishing that noble ones do not understand.
