9.87

自下第三約行論轉，先愚、後智。愚中有三：一不修故轉，不修上來身戒心慧。二「以怖畏」下無心故轉，無出離心。初先法說，「如蒼蠅」下三喻顯示，皆初立喻、後合可知。三「師子言」下，明其無善有惡故轉，先問、後答。答中兩種五法辨之。

From here, the third [part] discusses transformation with reference to practice, first for the foolish and then for the wise. Among the foolish there are three: first, transformation due to non-cultivation, not cultivating the aforementioned body, precepts, mind, and wisdom. Second, from 'out of fear' onward, transformation due to lack of [proper] mind, lacking the mind of renunciation. First it explains through the Dharma; from 'like a bluebottle fly' onward, three similes demonstrate it, all of which first establish a simile and afterward apply it, as can be understood. Third, from 'Siṃha said' onward, it clarifies transformation due to lacking good and possessing evil, first questioning and then answering. In the answer, it distinguishes them through two kinds of five dharmas.
