第三呵中，「若言不須修集道者，是義不然」牒以總非。「譬如人」下，辨正顯非。於中七喻：前之一喻別舉別合，後之六喻并舉總合。

In the third part, which is the rebuke, "If you say that one does not need to cultivate and accumulate the path, this meaning is not so" quotes and generally rejects it. From "Just as a person..." onward, it distinguishes the correct and demonstrates the erroneous. Within this are seven analogies: the first analogy is separately cited and separately applied, while the subsequent six analogies are cited together and combined in application.
