下釋別難，隨前所難上中下人次第釋之。先就上人釋去難辭。「汝說病人悉得差者」牒其問辭。「我為六住菩薩說」者，簡勝異劣。六住菩薩方能自得，凡夫二乘何由能爾？故須修道。六住之義，如上具辨。

Below, it resolves the specific objections, resolving them in order according to the superior, middling, and inferior persons raised earlier in the objection. First, regarding the superior person, it resolves the words of the objection. "You said that all the sick persons recover" quotes the phrasing of his question. "I spoke for the sake of bodhisattvas of the sixth abode" distinguishes the superior to differentiate them from the inferior. Bodhisattvas of the sixth abode are only then able to attain it spontaneously; how could ordinary persons and followers of the two vehicles be capable of this? Therefore, they must cultivate the path. The meaning of the sixth abode is fully distinguished above.
