From here down next clarifies the fruits of the seven good dharmas: by cultivating the wisdom for transforming others through the seven good [dharmas], the achievement of the virtuous quality of all-knowledge that is world-transcending is their fruit. In this, it first clarifies being endowed with the eight kinds of knowledge and vision; "What benefit is attained..." and below [clarifies] attaining the four unobstructed knowledges. The former eight kinds of knowledge and vision, being broad in what is known, are named all-knowledge; the latter four unobstructed knowledges, being unimpeded in what is known, are named unobstructed knowledge. Distinguishing according to their aspects: through previously knowing the time, knowing contentment, knowing oneself, knowing the assembly, and knowing the superior and inferior, one is endowed with the eight kinds of knowledge and vision; through previously knowing the teaching and knowing the meaning, one attains the four unobstructed knowledges. Broadly speaking, both are attained together.
