18.7

「善男子聲聞緣覺」下，第三料簡。又二：初料簡、後論義。初為三：一明二乘無無閡、二別釋、三總結。初如文。次別釋中，先釋緣覺、次聲聞。「迦葉」下，二論義，先問、次答。答為三：一正答、二開昔權、三顯今實，如文。

From "Good son, śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas" onwards, third is the critical analysis. This also has two parts: first the critical analysis, and later the dialectical discussion. The first has three parts: first, explaining that the two vehicles lack unobstructedness; second, distinct explanations; and third, a general summary. The first is as in the text. In the subsequent distinct explanations, it first explains the pratyekabuddha and next the śrāvaka. From "Kāśyapa" onwards, second is the dialectical discussion, with first the question and next the answer. The answer has three parts: first, the direct answer; second, opening the provisional of the past; and third, revealing the real of the present, as in the text.
