一家云：半邊滿，滿邊半。此非互語「半三斗，三斗半」，亦如「山在南，在山南」，豈可為一？
Our tradition says: The side of the half is full, and the side of the full is half. This is not the reciprocal phrasing of "half of three dǒu" and "three dǒu and a half"; nor is it like "the mountain is to the south" and "to the south of the mountain"—how could they be the same?
