五者多故名大。經云：譬如大城，多諸珍寶故名大城；涅槃亦爾，多諸法寶故名為大。

Fifth, it is named great because it is manifold. The sūtra says: “Like a great city that has many rare treasures and is therefore called a great city; nirvāṇa is likewise, having many treasures of the Dharma, and is therefore called great.”
