六者勝故名大。譬如有人，於人中勝故名大；涅槃亦爾，勝於一切，故名為大也。
Sixth, it is named great because it is supreme. For example, there is a person who is supreme among people and is therefore called great; nirvāṇa is likewise, being supreme over all, and is therefore called great.
