贊曰：此正答名。說彌勒菩薩涅槃之事，故以為名。示生彼相令有瞻觀，勸發道心流通萬代。依名釋義，如是受持。受謂領納之在心，持謂任持之不妄。

The commentary says: This directly answers regarding the name. It speaks of the matter of Maitreya Bodhisattva's nirvāṇa, hence it is used as the title. It displays the marks of birth there to provide a vision to gaze upon, urging the arousal of the mind of the Way to propagate it for ten thousand generations. Explaining the meaning in accord with the name: thus should one receive and uphold it. 'Receive' means taking it into one's mind; 'uphold' means maintaining it without forgetting.
