The commentary states: The fourth is the supernatural transformations of the various noble ones. The intention is to show that his mind and head are constantly accompanied by all the Buddhas and bodhisattvas of the ten directions as companions. As for the 'eighteen transformations': first, shaking; second, blazing; third, flowing pervadingly; fourth, manifesting; fifth, changing; sixth, going and coming; seventh, rolling up; eighth, unfurling; ninth, having numerous forms enter the body; tenth, proceeding among their own kind; eleventh, concealing; twelfth, revealing; thirteenth, sovereignty in what is done; fourteenth, controlling the supernatural powers of others; fifteenth, bestowing eloquence; sixteenth, bestowing mindfulness; seventeenth, bestowing ease and bliss; eighteenth, emitting great radiance. As explained in fascicle thirty-seven of the Yogācārabhūmi.
