2.58

Each balustrade was formed together from trillions of brahma-maṇi jewels, and between the balustrades there spontaneously and miraculously arose countless trillions of seven-jewel lotus flowers; atop each lotus flower were countless billions of beams of light, and within those beams of light all musical instruments were equipped, such heavenly instruments playing spontaneously without being struck. When this sound went forth, all the maidens spontaneously held various musical instruments and vied to rise in song and dance, and the sounds they sang expounded the ten wholesome actions and the four great vows. All the devas who heard it aroused the mind directed toward unsurpassed awakening.
