At that time, hundreds of thousands of Brahmā kings from the ten directions each held a wondrous jewel of the Brahmā Heaven to serve as a jeweled bell, hanging them upon the jeweled canopy. Then the lesser Brahmā kings took heavenly jewels to form a net, completely covering the canopy. At that time, hundreds of thousands of countless heavenly sons and heavenly daughters with their retinues each held jeweled flowers to spread over the throne. From these lotus flowers there spontaneously emerged fifty billion jeweled maidens, holding white fly-whisks in their hands, standing in attendance within the canopy.
