The commentary says: Seventh, inwardly cultivating the four analytical knowledges, outwardly there are Great Brahmās hanging jeweled bells, showing the respect of gods and humans. Eighth, inwardly cultivating dhāraṇī, outwardly there are lesser Brahmās making nets. Ninth, heavenly sons and heavenly daughters holding flowers and spreading them over the throne. Tenth, jeweled maidens holding white fly-whisks and standing in attendance within the canopy. All these are evoked by ordinary beings eliminating the ten evils and cultivating wholesome morality, and by bodhisattvas also upholding the ten inexhaustible precepts.
